Opening Up: Lessons from a Speaker Shutdown
Podcasts allow people to listen deeply on their own terms. This form of listening can open us up to different viewpoints and enhance subsequent efforts at dialogue. In that spirit, the Engaged Listening Project supported a pilot podcast episode. “Lessons from a Speaker Shutdown” focuses on student views two years after a controversial speaker visited Middlebury in March 2017.
